I visited with my grandma a few days ago. Now that’s grandpa is gone, she’s starting to go through her house and get rid of things. She’d started quite a pile of things for me to take—waffle iron, wok, tupperware, wool blankets, utility knife blades,

There is endless chatter inside my head but a motorcycle is loud enough to drown that out. “Wanna go for a ride?” I asked him. “Where to?”  We don’t officially decide on a destination but it doesn’t take long before I’m on the back of
