Dear internet: The reactions you receive about anything you do or say have nothing to do with you and everything to do with the other person.

Some people will think you’re amazing and wonderful and all sorts of goodness. Other people will think you suck. And it has nothing to do with you and everything to do with what’s going on in their head, what they’ve experienced in their life, and how their eyes and ears process what you just did.

Today we get real about what other people think of us, what we think of other people, and what our responsibility is in all of it.
