Is it just me, or does it feel like we’re being absolutely buried in information?
In today’s episode, I share a story about a local storm that was supposed to be a big deal when it hit last week… and it totally wasn’t.
The build-up, though? That was a whole event in itself.
But this episode isn’t just about a storm that didn’t materialize. What we’re actually talking about is over-information, what it does to our brains, and why everything now feels like a crisis—even when it’s not. Whether it is storms, elections, the economy, or some other world event, we’re constantly asked to mentally live through things before they even happen. And the world does it under the guise of safety and preparing, but if we’re honest, I think it’s really just about performing and panic.
I’m not saying don’t be safe or smart. I’m not saying don’t prepare. I’m saying maybe we need to shut the tabs, trust ourselves a little more, and live our actual lives again. Join me today for a spice-tastic conversation about how I’m kinda over being overinformed. (Main topic starts at 4:38)
